After announcing that Telltale Games closed their studio several days ago, many were worried whether or not their recently released game, The Walking Dead: Final Season will see the conclusion to Clementine’s story. Well, it seems that the parent company of the Walking Dead series will be taking over the remaining two episodes and will release it as planned.
Here’s their statement:
We are excited to be able to announce that Skybound Entertainment and Skybound Games will be taking over Telltale Games’ The Walking Dead: The Final Season. We heard the fans loud and clear and we want to make sure Clementine’s story is told through to the end!

It’s currently not known when exactly Skybound Games will be releasing the third and final episode. For those who have played the game, the third episode is scheduled to be released on November 3 but with Telltale’s recent closure, that might move to a later date.
We’ll keep you updated once Skybound Games officially announces the release date of the two remaining episodes of The Walking Dead: Final Season.
The Walking Dead: Final Season is available now for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch. The episodes that are available now are Episodes 1 and 2.
