EA recently revealed that those who will be picking up Star Wars Battlefront 2 this week will be pleased to know that heroes in the multiplayer portion of the game will have their costs reduced.
During the early access of the EA Access players, a lot have noticed that heroes like Luke Skywalker costs 60,000 credits to attain. Some other major characters like Princess Leaia were 40,000 credits. Unfortunately, many found it to be unfair because you don’t earn as much credits after playing online multiplayer matches. Actually, it could take your about 40 hours to get each character, which a lot got pretty disappointed.
After listening to fan feedback, EA has decreased the cost of the hero characters by 75%.
Here’s their statement:
So, we’re reducing the amount of credits needed to unlock the top heroes by 75%. Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader will now be available for 15,000 credits; Emperor Palpatine, Chewbacca, and Leia Organa for 10,000 credits; and Iden at 5,000 credits. Based on what we’ve seen in the trial, this amount will make earning these heroes an achievement, but one that will be accessible for all players. It’s a big change, and it’s one we can make quickly. It will be live today, with an update that is getting loaded into the game.
Star Wars Battlefront II will be available this November 17 for Xbox One, PS4, and PC. Those who purchased the Deluxe Edition will have three day early access.
