The move to an older setting has been a good thing for the COD franchise. Call of Duty: WWII managed to stay on top of the UK gaming charts for the second week in a row.
As reported by GFK Chart-Track, Call of Duty: WWII was the best selling game despite sales dropping by 43% compared to its debut week.
Amazingly, FIFA 18 sales stayed level and is the second best selling game of the week. Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed Origins was in third place.
Rounding up to the top five were Need for Speed Payback and Sonic Forces placing in the 4th and 5th positions respectively. Super Lucky’s Tale sadly only placed at number 23.
Next week will likely be dominated by the release of Star Wars Battlefront 2. It will be interesting to see if it can sell more units than the previous game in 2015.
