Capcom has announced its financial earnings for the quarter ending on September 30th, 2017. We now have numbers for how successful Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite was.
The game shipped 900,000 copies in its first two weeks of sale. This takes into account units for the PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite had a rough time during its lead up to launch. Fans criticized the character models as well as the lack of X-Men characters and more.
Shipping almost 1 million copies could be seen as a minor success. However, one would think Capcom would have liked to have shipped over 2 million copies.
